The Capo Calculator is a simple utility that
quickly calculates what key you can transpose to by using a capo. The
capo is a device that can be strapped or clipped across the strings of a
guitar to raise the pitch of the strings.

To
use the calculator simply select the key you would like to play in
from the drop-down list. On the right you will see a list of what key
playing in the selected key will transpose to when capoing on a given
fret.
For example: If you know all the chords to a song in the key of C but that
key is too low for the person singing, you could try capoing to the key of
D. By putting your capo on the second fret, you could play the song using
all the chord positions nomally used in the key of C, but the pitch of the
guitar would be in the key of D.
